Hello and welcome to another edition of Glaive Volleyball. Things are really heating up and getting exciting as we approach the final stages of this season. Then there’s the postseason has been happening for some teams and the postseason is about to happen for a bunch more. So let’s get right into it. Post defeated Caldwell 3 to 1 Madelynn Boop had 30 kills in this one. That’s a very very impressive number. Sacred Heart defeated Bryant 3 to 1 Dominique Felix have 14 kills 13 digs. Sarah Ciszek had 42 assists. Hartford downed NJIT three to one..three to nothing. Camryn Luginbuhl had 16 kills. UConn defeated St John’s 3 to 2 Caylee Parker had 22 kills. She’s had a great season. Southern Connecticut defeated Stonehill 3 to 1 Erika Benson had 18 kills four blocks. Stonehill beat Southern Connecticut earlier in the season so there was some revenge for the Owls. Wesleyan defeated Scranton three to nothing in the NCAA tourney. Maddie Kurke had 21 kills then Wesleyan defeated RIT three to nothing. Bella Ahearn had 17 kills. Unfortunately for Wesleyan they would then be defeated in the regional final. So that was how far they got in the NCAA tourney. Still a very good run for the Cardinals. Springfield College also made the D3 NCAA tourney but was eliminated in the second round. But now the D1 teams and D2 teams will soon be approaching their tournaments and the NCAA tournaments. Well the NCAA tournaments are aways out but the conference tournaments will be starting up. So thank you for watching hope you’ll do it again.
