Hello and welcome to another edition of Glaive Soccer talking about some of the games earlier in this week. Let’s just jump into it. No need to dilly-dally. Wow I couldn’t have delivered that in a more monotone boring way. So anyway here we go. Franklin Pierce took on Southern Connecticut State. Southern Connecticut State won this one, one-nil. How did this happen? Well it was a very back-and-forth game. Each side got the chances. Southern Connecticut seemed to get better chances. They had a ball go off the crossbar, that another point-blank chance but it was saved by the goalkeeper but what decided it was a handball by Franklin Pierce and they had a penalty kick and up stepped Kelsey Burr. She nailed the penalty kick. That was it. That was all there was to it. But Allie Smith also for Southern Connecticut did her job. Kept Franklin Pierce out of the net and a victory for the Owls. Creighton took on UConn. Huskies won this one three-two. Jaydah Bedoya two goals for UConn. Wesleyan downed Trinity two to one. Grace Devanny two goals. She’s having a very good season. Post took on Nyack. Post won this won three to one. Alvaro Sanchez had a hat-trick over in the NCAA M division. So that was the game’s to highlight but there’s a bunch of other score from early in the week I didn’t highlight. Boom.
Realize that was probably “my boom goes the dynamite” moment. Anyway thanks for watching. <> Hope you’ll tune in again despite the total lack of energy in this one
