Hello and welcome to Glaive Soccer. Has been an exciting few days in soccer because there’s been conference tournaments and either teams have been fighting to get into them or fighting inside them. Quite an awkward way to talk about them but none the less turning to WSOC there’s a little East Champion and it’s WestConn! They defeated UMass Boston two niil for their 12th little East title. And over in the NEC, Central Connecticut state defeated FDU 3 to nil and that’s big win for them. So two champs in Connecticut right now. Meanwhile Bridgeport has been continuing their winning ways. They defeated Queens two-nil they also defeated Staten Island four-nil. Tori Smith had two goals in the Staten Island game. Yale defeated St. Francis five-nil. Alanna Butcher had one goal and three assists. Ellie Rappole had two goals. Brown and Yale also faced off this weekend I was at that game. This was a very close game in the first half as each team scored two goals apiece. Chloe Laureano had one goal and one assist. She was responsible for scoring the first goal of the game. She also had kicked the corner kick which was which led to a header and that was the second Yale goal but Brittany Raphino of brown had a hat-trick and needless to say 3 is more than 2 and that’s how the Brown Bears ultimately won the game. Southern Connecticut State, they’re in the NE10 tournament and they knocked off the top seed Southern New Hampshire, so they’re going to advance. On to MMSOC. Nearly called it Amazon stock which is not anything. WestConn took on ECSU and ECSU won that one to become Little East Champs. New Haven scored four to Bentley’s nil. Post four, Felician nil. Alvaro Sanchez had two goals for Post. Post is now to CACC regular-season champs with that victory. Bridgeport had three goals to Staten Island zero. Staten Island just did not enjoy Bridgeport this season. Was it was no matter what team came through. Yale defeated Brown 2 to 1 Kahveh Zahiroleslam had two goals and that is it I’m out of script so thank you for watching, hope you’ll do it again.
