NEW HAVEN, CT – The Bridgeport Purple Knights posted a 194.1 to top the Southern Connecticut Owls and their 192.6 Friday night at SCSU’s Senior Night.

On Vault, Joanna Chambers of UB took the crown with a 9.8 just ahead of teammate Kieran Ross and a 9.775. Abigail Kenney tied for third for the Knights as Elena Bailey of Southern also had a 9.75.

On Bars, Hannah Stahlbrodt won the event swinging to a 9.875 ahead of teammate Jayci Jordan’s 9.8. Bridgeport’s Chambers hit a 9.75 for third.

Over on the Beam, Ross and Nicole Javinett of Bridgeport took first with a 9.850 ahead of Olivia Imbarlina also of UB and a 9.825. Libby Allen of SCSU had a 9.750 for the next highest score.

Finally on Floor, Allen placed first thanks to a 9.875 routine, as teammates Ciana Rios, Hanna Zebdi, and Alexa Melanson filled in right behind with 9.85s. UB’s Alexis Richardson, Lola Sepulveda, and Kenney all had 9.8s as well.

In the All Around Sepulveda took first with a 38.65 just ahead of Ross and a 38.625. Stahlbrodt put up a 38.5 on the day.
