BRIDGEPORT, CT – The West Chester Golden Rams took first in a quad meet at Bridgeport Saturday night posting a 193.425. Visiting Brockport scored a 191.450 just ahead of the Purple Knights score of 191.200. Rhode Island College posted a 184.225.
On Vault, WCU’s Kiah Johnson took first with a 9.8, Sydney Schumaker of Brockport was second with a 9.775, and Joanna Chambers of Bridgeport took third with a 9.750. Sophia Damiano led RIC with a 9.525.
On Bars, Jordan Coleman of West Chester posted a 9.85 for first, followed by Emma Grace Sargent of Brockport’s 9.775. Taylor Bushey and Sarah Eskew of West Chester tallied 9.725s. Joanna Chambers led Bridgeport with a 9.575 and Kelsey Gates was first among RIC gymnasts with a 9.2.
Over on the Beam, Olivia Imbarlina and Nicole Javinett of UB scored 9.775s. Kristina Rodriguez of WCU had a 9.750 and Madison Whitaker hit a 9.725. Olivia Keyes of RIC posted a 9.65. Sydney Schumaker of Brockport had the top Golden Eagle score of 9.5.
Finally on Floor, Gates of RIC hit a massive 9.9 for first, followed by Rodriguez’s 9.8. Kyra Figurelli of Brockport had a 9.775. Alexis Richardson and Abigail Kenney were first among Bridgeport gymnasts with 9.7s.
In the All Around Rodriguez was first compiling a 38.625, Lola Sepulveda of UB was second with a 38.475, Gates came in third for RIC with a 37.850.
