SCSU Tri-Meet Report and Videos.

NEW HAVEN, CT – The SCSU Owls, Springfield Pride, and Rhode Island College Anchorwomen gymnastics teams met in a tri-meet on Southern’s campus Saturday. The result would be a 189.950 for Southern, a 187.125 for Springfield, and a 183.175 for RIC.

SCSU’s Lexi Bracher and Hanna Zebdi flew to first on vault with their 9.7s. Springfield College’s Stacy Taylor and Anne Kiley led their teams and had the second high score of the day with 9.575s. Ava Kelly of SCSU put up a 9.550. Emma Tucker led RIC with her 9.325.

On the Uneven Bars, Ciana Rios of Southern won the event with her 9.8, followed by Springfield’s Tori Sipes who tallied a 9.725. Hannah Stahlbrodt of SCSU scored a 9.625 for third. Olivia Keyes led RIC with a 9.15.

On Beam, it was Keyes who took first holding steady for a 9.7. SCSU’s Angel Lee and RIC’s Kelsey Gates had 9.65s. Emiley Kahl had the third highest score of 9.575, Rae Anna Schutz led SC with a 9.550.

Finally on Floor, Gates flipped to a 9.75 for first, SCSU’s Libby Allen scored a 9.675, and Abby Royer also of Southern had a 9.65 as did Springfield’s Christina Wygonik.

SCSU Coach Knox spoke about the meet afterwards.
