NEW HAVEN, CT – The Yale Bulldogs, West Chester Golden Rams, LIU Sharks, and Brown Bears competed in the quad at Yale Sunday afternoon with West Chester picking up the top score of 192.325. LIU’s 190.825 placed second followed by Yale’s 190.8 and Brown’s 188.7.
Jah’Liyah Bedminster of LIU took the Vault with her 9.825. Raegan Walker of Yale and Ilka Juk of LIU posted 9.775s and Lindsay Chia of Yale, along with WCU’s Jessica Meakim and Kiah Johnson all had 9.750s.
On Bars, Sherry Wang of the Bulldogs swung to a 9.825 event win, followed by teammates Kendal Toy and Walker’s 9.8. With the third highest scores were Yale’s Sarah Wilson, WCU’s Jordan Coleman and LIU’s Ella Castellanos who all put up 9.77s.
Over on the Beam, Chia’s 9.875 was good enough for first, followed by Walker’s 9.825. Toy and Brown’s Mei Li Costa had 9.8s on the day.
Bedminster won Floor with her 9.825. Meakim finished second thanks to a 9.8 and Chia and Toy tumbled to 9.775s.
In the all around a close contest went Chia’s way as she notched a 39.075 to Meakim’s 38.9.
