NEW HAVEN, CT – In a rare quint meet on SCSU’s senior day, Southern Connecticut State hosted Bridgeport, West Chester, Brown, and Rhode Island College Saturday afternoon. Southern honored seniors Jackie Kutcher, Jenna Zakala, Keylea Brothers, Allie Lesperance and Isabella Antonangeli before the meet.

Bridgeport scored a 194.800 as a team, as West Chester posted a 193.125, SCSU and Brown each had 192.400s and RIC posted a 181.525.

Julianna Roland of Bridgeport took the Vault title with a 9.850 score, followed by teammate Jordan Streete who landed a 9.825 and their fellow Purple Knight Gabrielle Kistner picked up a 9.775. Kiah Johnson of West Chester and Maya Reimers of UB had a 9.725. Alyssa Gardner produced Brown’s best score of 9.675, Hannah Stahlbrodt hit SCSU’s best of 9.650 and Kelsey Gates put up a 9.250 for RIC’s top tally.

On Bars, Stahlbrodt, UB’s Kathryn Doran, and Melanie Wojewoda of WCU all had 9.875s to share the crown. Stahlbrodt broke a program record with this score and Wojewoda tied WCU’s record. Erin Howell of Brown swung to a 9.850 and her teammate Emma Hansen posted a 9.775. Kelsey Gates posted RIC’s best score of the day of 8.850.

Over on Beam, Bianca Leon of Southern and Reimers held steady for a 9.825 to each win the event. Roland had a 9.775 and Jordan Peloquin of SCSU and Sarah Boyd of WCU each had 9.750s. Lauren Lazaro’s 9.7 was Brown’s top score and Gates had a 9.425 to lead Rhode Island College.

Reimers won another Floor title with a 9.925, as WCU’s Rose Fanara won a 9.850 and Stahlbrodt hit a 9.825. Lauren Lazaro had a 9.750 to lead Brown and Gates scored a 9.625 for RIC.

In the All Around Stahlbrodt compiled a 39.075 to win the title and break the school record, Roland got a 38.950, Jessica Meakim of WCU had a 37.75, and Gates had a 37.150.
