NEW HAVEN, CT – On Senior Day for the Yale Gymnastics Team, the Bulldogs put up a 194.175 score in front of the home crowd. The visiting D3 Brockport Golden Eagles scored a 188.750 as two teams compete in different competitive conferences.

On the Vault, Aimee Titche and Alyssa Firth of Yale shared the crown with two big 9.8 scores followed by their teammates as Jade Buford hit a 9.725 and Charlotte Cooperman and Rebecca Chong each flew to 9.7s. Jamie Sklenar led Brockport with a 9.675 trailed closed by Amy Eck’s 9.6.

On the Uneven Bars, Buford led the meet with a 9.85, and right behind her were fellow Bulldogs Lindsay Chia and Jacey Baldovino with 9.825s. Reagan Walker’s 9.725 rounded out the top 3 scores. Eck’s 9.650 was the best of Brockport and Kimberly Musall had a 9.5 for the Golden Eagles as well.

Chia was the Beam champ of the afternoon thanks to a 9.825. Baldovino’s 9.75 and Cooperman’s 9.675 finished the top 3 off. Alexis Castellaneta had Brockport’s top score of 9.625 and Jamie Sklenar posted a 9.55 for the second best amongst her team.

On Floor, Alyssa Firth’s 9.775 was first, Buford’s 9.725 followed her, and Firmstone’s 9.7 took third. Castellaneta’s 9.65 again took the top Brockport score with Sklenar again second for her team with a 9.575.

After the meet, Yale honored their six graduating Seniors, Jade Buford, Emma Firmstone, Anna Jennings, Sofia Menemenlis, Carly Israel, and Rebecca Chong.
