BRIDGEPORT, CT – The Bridgeport Purple Knights picked up a 193.650 score Sunday afternoon as Southern Connecticut State Owls scored a 192.800 for second place and the Brown Bears posted a 192.250 on the day.

Gabrielle Kistner of Bridgeport won Vault with a 9.725 and Julianna Roland of UB and Cassidy Girolamo of SCSU each scored 9.7s. Maya Reimers of UB flipped to a 9.675, while her teammate Caitlin Gray scored a 9.625 as did Alyssa Gardner of Brown.

On the Uneven Bars, Kathryn Doran of UB won the crown with her 9.825, as SCSU’s Hannah Stahlbrodt and Bianca Leon each had 9.8s. Hayley Bangart of the Purple Knights swung to a 9.775, and Brown’s Sophia Petrillo and Mei Li Costa each led their team with 9.75.

The treacherous Balance Beam proved to be a place of great success as Roland and Leon each had 9.9s to tie for first place. Southern’s Jordan Peloquin held steady with a 9.875, as Costa and Stahlbrodt put up 9.85s. Emma Hansen of Brown also had a 9.825. Doran had a 9.775, Jasmine Lee of Brown and Morgan Gatewood each notched 9.75s, Lauren Lazaro of the Bears posted a 9.725 and Hannah Barry of UB’s 9.7 rounded out all the scores at or above 9.7 on the four inch apparatus.

On Floor, Reimers hit a sky high 9.925, as teammate Roland’s saltoed to a 9.85 and Lazaro scored a 9.8. Noely Macias of SCSU’s routine netted her a 9.775, Gardner earned a 9.75 and teammate’s Stahlbrodt and Keylea Brothers picked up 9.725s.

In the All Around, Roland picked up the win with her combined 39.175, as Stahlbrodt posted a 38.875, Brown’s Sophia Petrillo placed third with her 38.1.
