BRIDGEPORT, CT – Cornell visited Bridgeport Saturday evening on UB’s Senior Night. The Purple Knights came away with a total of 194.750 while the Big Red put up a 190.225.

Julianna Roland of UB was the lone All-Arounder in the meet and she put together a 38.725.

On Vault, Gabrielle Kistner of Bridgeport flew and stuck the landing for a 9.9, Roland had a 9.875 and fellow teammate Crystal Gwinn scored a 9.8. Donna Webster of Cornell had her team’s best with a 9.775 followed closely behind by her teammates Maci Prescott and her 9.750 and Sara Maughan’s 9.725. Brieanna Zine, Varvara Diakakis, and Maya Reimers all had 9.7s to round out UB’s rotation and Samantha Henry of Cornell matched that score too.

On Uneven Bars, Thomara Powell-Brown and Kelli Tereshko of Bridgeport hit 9.825s followed closely behind by UB’s Maritza Futch and Kathryn Doran, Kelly Aycock had the fifth counted score for the home team witha  9.75 as did Cornell’s Christina Luniewicz and Payton Murphy.

Balance Beam was neither team’s favorite event, though Maya Reimers of UB led the way with a 9.85, followed by Doran’s 9.750, and Big Red member Miranda Lund’s 9.725.

Over on Floor, Reimers picked up her second event win with a 9.825, followed by Aycock’s 9.8 in her senior floor performance. Claire Haklik of Cornell also posted a 9.8. Gwinn tallied a 9.775 and Samantha Henry of CU scored a 9.725. Tereshko also had a 9.7.
