Noticed Plays.
(This is a not exhaustive very imperfect list of noticed plays that might not make the score sheet. It is very possible a player has far more of any sort of play than are noticed in the heat of action. It is what it is. Read these more as a player had “at least” what is noted here. Note the language is a bit stilted, I’m trying to figure out how to make the information flow better.)
Abby Welch
Got it in the offensive zone and sent it to McMillan for a scoring chance. Had several zone entries including one on the power play. Also had a steal in the defensive zone and started it out of the area.
Bella Sutton
On the power play kept the puck from escaping the zone a lot, and had numerous shots. On the penalty kill sent it to Heising for a short handed try. She also disrupted a Yale move and brought it back for a shorty try as well. At even strength collected the puck in the defensive zone several times and exited with it. On a zone entry she sent it to Madsen for a scoring chance.
Aly Hardy
Had a zone entry for a scoring chance.
Katie McMillan
Kept the puck in the offensive zone many times especially on the power play. Had two clears on the penalty kill. Also stole it in the PSU end and later acquired it another way and moved it out. In addition, disrupted a Yale zone entry.
Sophie Slattery
Got to the puck in the offensive zone to start something, also stole the puck for a scoring chance. At another time she moved the puck out of the defensive zone. Also kept the puck in the zone during a power play. Had several zone entries as well.
Katie Rankin
Had numerous puck acquisitions in the PSU end and at one point brought it zone to zone for a scoring try. Acquired the puck in the offensive zone as well. Also had more zone exits. Produced several scoring opportunities on the power play.
Shea Nelson
Got the puck in the neutral zone and skated into the Yale zone. On a different sequence kept the puck from escaping. At another point stole the puck in the offensive zone. Also had another zone entry and got the puck in the PSU zone.
Natalie Heising
Came up with the biscuit several times in the Yale end for scoring chances. Also had a short handed try on a PK. Had other zone entries at even strength and on the power play. Had several shots with a skater advantage.
Kate Rydland
Disrupted a zone entry with a block. Also her zone entry created a scoring opportunity. She also kept the puck in the zone and in another instance got to the disc in the Penn State zone and moved it out.
Amanda McLeod
By stealing the puck in the Yale zone generate a scoring chance. Later grabbed the puck in the neutral zone and carried it in for a scoring chance. Had at least one other zone entry.
Meike Meilleur
Had several zone entries, including one on the power play that led to a shot chance, and several that started in the PSU end. Also had a shot during a power play. She also made it to a puck in the offensive zone and sent it to Forest for a scoring chance, one of several times she got to a disc already in the Bulldogs section. Also defensively came up with the puck a few times and would move out including when she intercepted a Yale pass in her zone.
Caileah Forrest
Sent it to Welch to start a zone entry. Had more of a role than these notes indicate.
Irene Kiroplis
Disrupted a Bulldogs pass.
Brooke Madsen
Had several zone entries to produce scoring chances including a break on net. On the power play had numerous scoring chances too. Her steal in the PSU end eventually produced a team scoring opportunity. She had other defensive collections as well.
Kelsey Crow
Often prevented the puck from skidding across the blue line at even strength and on the power play, sometimes to lead to a scoring chance. Also came up with the puck in the defensive end as well.
Christi Vetter
Had several zone entries sometimes for scoring chances, including after intercepting a Yale pass. At another point grabbed the puck in the offensive zone. Also snatched it in the defensive zone and skated away. Had several other zone exits.

Tess Dettling
Had a zone entry and clearly did more than these notes indicate.
Rebecca Foggia
Had several zone entries, including a few for scoring chances, one of which was a break in on the net. Defensively she collected the puck numerous times in the Yale zone and moved it out, one time she had to fight it across the line. Another time she stole the puck from a Nittany Lion to start the exit.
She also disrupted a PSU zone entry and had a steal from one of them in the neutral zone.
Lauren Moriyama
One of her blocks came during a penalty kill. She also several times got to a puck in the neutral zone and dumped it back in disrupting PSU. Had a clear on the penalty kill as well as other defensive achievements.
Mallory Souliotis
Often kept the puck from going across the blue line, several times scoring chances follows. She also passed it to Skarzynski to start a zone entry. At another point she had the puck in the offensive zone and sent it to Pensavalle for a scoring opportunity. She also had a clear on the penalty kill, and a block during the PK. During a power play she interrupted a PSU short handed try. She also intercepted an opposing pass during a PK and skated out instead.
Emma Vlasic
Generated a short handed try on a penalty kill. Also had a clear while down a skater. At even strength had several zone entries for scoring chances. Several times she collected the puck in the Yale area and sent it to teammates to move it out. She also sent it to Skarzynski for a scoring opportunity.
Christina Kao
She disrupted a PSU zone entry. Also sent it to Veronneau for a scoring attempt.
Courtney Pensavalle
Had a variety of zone entries throughout the game. Also defensively came up with the puck many times and either brought it out herself or sent it to others like Tinker. This was mostly at even strength but also on the penalty kill.
Kara Drexler
Stole the puck in the neutral zone to disrupt a PSU setup. Also disrupted several of their zone entries. Collected the puck in the defensive end multiple times as well.
Kaitlin Gately
Had several zone entries and several collections in the defensive zone. She moved the puck out on the penalty kill, also fought it out at even strength. On a PK wasted time in the offensive zone too.
Sophie Veronneau
In addition to her zone entries, which sometimes produced scoring chances, she got to a puck in the PSU zone and that generated a chance too. She also collected the puck in the Yale end a few times as well.
Laura Anderson
When she got a puck in the offensive zone she fed it to Chancellor for a scoring chance. She also disrupted a PSU scoring chance on the PK. At another point she intercepted one of their passes during a kill and cleared it. She had at least two zone entries, one of which for a scoring chance.
Emily Monaghan
In addition to zone entries, one of which caused a scoring chance, she also fought the puck out of the zone.
Julia Yetman
Had 3 blocks just on the penalty kill. Also on the PK brought it out, and at another point cleared it. One of her shots came on the power play. At even strength she kept the puck from crossing the PSU blue line several times. She also often collected the puck in the defensive end.
Jordan Chancellor
Had many zone entries including on the power play. Also disrupted a Penn State scoring try on the penalty kill. Also moved the puck out on a defensive zone.
Greta Skarzynski
Had numerous zone entries, several of which produced scoring chances. Also had several chances on the power play. With a skater advantage kept the puck in the zone to prolong the cycle. Defensively had many puck collections in her own zone and skated it out or fought it through the PSU players to exit. Also came up with the puck in the Nittany Lions end and sent it to Pensavalle for a scoring chance.
Saroya Tinker
Was noticed cleaning the puck out of the goal area at various points. Also had a clear on the penalty kill. Several times kept the puck within the PSU area. Many times collected the puck in her own section and moved it out.
