The NCGA East Regional Champion Brockport Golden Eagles saw six of their seniors graduate. All of them had their roles to play and Caitlin Elsadek, Kendal Hamer, Maddie O’Braitis, Jen Sklenar, Casey Sullivan, and Marla Thomas will be missed. What follows is a summary of their career highs compiled from roadtonationals.com and video of their arguably best routines from both Brockport Gymnastics and DFPSports channels.
Elsadek had career highs of 9.625 on the Uneven Bars in both 2016 and 2017. She also has competed on Floor in her career.
Hamer focused on Beam and set a career high of 9.75 on that even in 2017.
O’Braitis scored a 9.7 career high on Bars several times in 2016 including in the routine below.
She also had a 9.55 high on Beam in 2017.
Sklenar as an All Arounder set a career high of 38.575 in 2017. She also set or tied career highs in 2017 on Vault with a 9.8
, a 9.5 on Bars,
a 9.725 on Beam,
and a 9.85 on Floor.
Sullivan had a 9.7 career high on Vault in 2017
as well as a 9.65 high on Floor this year as well.
She also competed on Bars in the past.
Thomas set a Vault career high of 9.55 back in 2014 but swung a 9.575 career high on Bars in 2017.
