Gymnastics: Penn Quad

PHILADELPHIA, PA- In a quad meet at Penn, Penn State posted a 196.2, the Bridgeport Purple Knights scored a 193.875, the West Chester Golden Rams had a 192.950 (including a school record on Vault of 48.675), and the Penn Quakers scored a 191.475.

Maya Reimers and Kimberly Stewart of Bridgeport, and Briannah Tsang of PSU had 9.875’s for the best Vault scores of the day. Rachel Blair and Majesta Valentine had WCU’s best vaults with 9.8s. Kellie Flavin had the top Quakers Vault came from Kellie Flavin’s 9.65.

Sabrina Garcia of PSU scored a 9.925 for the top Bars score. Valentine led West Chester with her 9.825 and Emma Cullen had a 9.8 for Penn’s top score. Bridgeport was led by Maritza Futch and Christine Liautaud’s 9.775s.

Nicole Medvitz of Penn State posted a 9.85 to take the top Beam score. Valentine’s 9.8 was first among Rams, Brianna Comport held steady for a 9.75 for UB, and Nicole Swirbalus paced Penn with a 9.675.

Just Penn routines: 

the Floor for the best score of the evening. Comport’s 9.925 was second in the meet and first for UB. Alex Hartke’s 9.85 was the best Penn score of the day, and Valentine’s 9.825 was the best WCU score.

Tsang took the All Around with her 39.425 just ahead of Valentine’s 39.250, Garcia’s 39.225, PSU’s Kristin Politz’s 38.975, a Reimers score of 38.925, and Campbell’s 38.8.
