Toyama would face Iwate twice and come away with two victories last weekend. 

On March 14^th the Grouses defeated the Big Bulls 81-68.

Joe Werner led Toyama with 19 as well as 9 rebounds. Masasahi Joho posted 13, Jamelle Horne 11, and Takeshi Mito 10. Sam Willard had 9 rebounds as well. For the Big Bulls, Jun Nakanishi scored 15 and Abdullahi Kuso tallied 14 plus 2 steals, 2 blocks and 6 rebounds. Scootie Randall had 11, and 7 boards. Lawrence Blackledge scored 8, blocked 4 shots and had 6 rebounds of his own.

On the 15^th, Toyama downed the Bulls in a closer contest 81 to 79.

Mito and Willard each had 19 for the Grouses. Mito also picked up 5 assists and 3 steals on the day and Willard blocked 2. Horne had 11, Tatsunori Fujie and Werner each had 10. Werner added 10 rebounds for his part. For Iwate, Blackledge scored 28, adding 11 rebounds and 5 assists to his totals. Randall posted 17, Masato Tsukino had 15, and Kuso picked up 11 rebounds.
