The Army Black Knights put together a 414.7 as Coach Steve Posner’s Springfield Pride scored a 412.200 on the day. Sam Kusnitz led Army and the meet with a 14.1 on Floor. Tucker Mcclure and Jon Zirna posted 13.95s for Springfield. Also, Zirna won the Pommel Horse scoring a 14.750 edging teammate Pat Ryther’s 14.7 and Army’s Connor Venrick and his team leading 14.5. Chris Graff won Rings scoring a 14.3. Venrick had a 14.1 and Nathan Goff of Army scored a 14.050. Army’s Jesse Glenn flipped to a 14.75 score and win on Vault. The appropriately named Seth Cannon of Army scored a 14.5 for second. SC’s Tucker McClure tallied a 14.4 for third.
Glenn took Parallel Bars as well hitting a 14.5. Teammate Chris Short had a 14.4 and Zirna put up a 14.1. On the High Bar Glenn’s 14.95 won the event outright. Kusnitz was second swinging to a 14.5. Springfield’s Derek Taranto posted a 13.75 for third.
Glenn had an 84.050 in the All Around and Zirna put together an 82.850.
