NEW HAVEN, CT-Saturday afternoon, the Temple Owls and Springfield Owls arrived at Yale to take on the host Bulldogs. The result, Temple scored a 191.600, Yale a 184.350, and Springfield a 178.950.
Temple swept vault with Kaity Watson’s 9.8, Alexandra Uscatu’s 9.725, and Corrine Williams 9.650. Also on Uneven Bars, Williams and Chelsea Troutman took 1st with 9.75s. Watson had a 9.65, and Lindsay Andsager of Yale scored a 9.575.
On the beam, Sylvie Borschel had a 9.725, Williams a 9.6, and Yale’s Tabitha Tay a 9.525. On the floor, Borschel took first as well with a 9.750. Yale’s Talis Trevino scored a 9.725, and Temple’s Jasmine Johnson picked up the third highest score of 9.6. Springfield tumbling grad student Lizzie Sartell had her team’s highest score of the day with a 9.4.
In the All Around Watson scored a 38.425, Williams a 38.25, and Goldstein’s 36.875 rounded out the top 3.
