In just a few short hours the Long Island and Central Connecticut volleyball teams will take on each other on the CCSU campus in New Britain. Both are undefeated in NEC conference play so as they say often, something will have to give. Here is just a brief preview of each team’s progress so far drawing from stats from the Northeastern Conference. Note that Long Island has not only lost a match in the NEC, but has yet to lose a set. Central has not lost a conference match but did lose to conference opponent Sacred Heart earlier in the year in a non conference match.
Long Island 10-13 (7-0 NEC)
