Rutgers 189.225, UNH 188.900, URI 186.525, Yale 185.325
Rutgers rebounded from a loss to UNH last week to capture the win in what seemed like a lower scoring affair than usual.
Some individual results…
Yale’s Miki Seltzer won the Floor with a 9.625. Beth Bronson from UNH took the Beam with a 9.90. Laura Sevarino from Rutgers won Vault and UNH’s Helena Diodati won the Uneven Bars.
I’m still figuring out who won the All Around believe it or not.
Very interesting that Beam was the highest scoring event of the night.
UNH’s Beth Bronson dismounted from Bars using a dismount that I just found out about called…”the Bronson” an amazing flip back off the high bar into twists and a landing.
A URI gymnast returned to action this year after battle Hodgkin’s disease last year as well and was honored at the end of the meet. Mega kudos to her!
Will also try to provide more detailed information as the season goes on.
