This meet happened Wednesday night in Springfield. I got the scores from end of meet announcement. I believe releases are up on both the Springfield and MIT athletics sites. This is a very good start for Springfield. Both teams had to deal with falls. MIT had a similar start last year when the visited Springfield for their opener, but by mid season were knocking out the 180’s and above on their way to a D3 nationals berth and their best finish ever at nationals, so it will be interesting to see how this season evolves. I’ll provide more detail about the individual athletes as the season goes on and I learn more. It does look like MIT’s Julia Zimmerman is right back to her old ways picking up another all around victory.
