6月27日下午，國(guó)防部舉行例行記者會(huì)，國(guó)防部新聞局局長(zhǎng)、國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人吳謙大校答記者問(wèn)。
記者：近日，中美兩國(guó)防長(zhǎng)在香格里拉對(duì)話(huà)會(huì)期間實(shí)現(xiàn)線(xiàn)下會(huì)晤。請(qǐng)問(wèn)如何評(píng)價(jià)當(dāng)前中美兩軍關(guān)系？下一步，中美兩軍是否會(huì)開(kāi)展更多交流？
Question: Recently, the defense chiefs of China and the US had an in-person meeting on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue. What’s your comment on the current China-US military-to-military relations? Will the two sides have more exchanges in the future?
吳謙：去年11月以來(lái)，中美兩軍堅(jiān)決落實(shí)兩國(guó)元首重要共識(shí)，在平等和尊重基礎(chǔ)上穩(wěn)步恢復(fù)對(duì)話(huà)磋商，取得了積極務(wù)實(shí)的成果。今年香格里拉對(duì)話(huà)會(huì)期間，中美防長(zhǎng)實(shí)現(xiàn)線(xiàn)下會(huì)談，圍繞兩國(guó)兩軍關(guān)系、臺(tái)灣、南海等問(wèn)題進(jìn)行了積極、務(wù)實(shí)、富有建設(shè)性的戰(zhàn)略溝通。6月25日至29日，中國(guó)人民解放軍國(guó)防大學(xué)代表團(tuán)赴美國(guó)華盛頓，開(kāi)展中美國(guó)防大學(xué)戰(zhàn)略對(duì)話(huà)。可以說(shuō)，當(dāng)前兩軍關(guān)系止跌企穩(wěn)的局面來(lái)之不易，值得雙方倍加珍惜。
Wu Qian: Following the important consensus reached by Chinese and US heads of state last November, the two militaries have steadily resumed dialogues and consultation on the basis of equality and respect and achieved some positive and tangible results. On the margins of this year’s Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD), China’s Defense Minister and US Secretary of Defense met in person and they had a positive, substantive and constructive discussion on topics including the state-to-state and military-to-military relations, the Taiwan question and the South China Sea issue. A delegation from the PLA National Defense University (NDU) arrived in Washington D.C. on June 25th for the Strategic Dialogue with its US counterpart. The China-US military relationship has stabilized from deterioration. The momentum does not come by easily, thus both sides shall cherish it.

I want to emphasize that developing China-US military-to-military relations requires both sides to value peace, prioritize stability and uphold credibility. We hope the US side adopt a right perception of China, respect China’s sovereignty, security and development interests and work with us in the same direction to pursue a stable and sound relationship.
