記者：當(dāng)?shù)貢r間11月15日，習(xí)近平主席同美國總統(tǒng)拜登在美國舊金山舉行中美元首會晤。兩國元首同意在平等和尊重基礎(chǔ)上恢復(fù)兩軍高層溝通、中美國防部工作會晤、中美海上軍事安全磋商機制會議，開展中美兩軍戰(zhàn)區(qū)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)通話。請發(fā)言人介紹兩國元首會晤以來，雙方軍事溝通有何進展？
吳謙：前不久，習(xí)近平主席同美國總統(tǒng)拜登成功舉行會晤。雙方在相互尊重和平等互惠基礎(chǔ)上，探討了各領(lǐng)域?qū)υ捄献?，在政治外交、人文交流、全球治理、軍事安全等領(lǐng)域達成了20多項共識，為實現(xiàn)中美關(guān)系健康、穩(wěn)定、可持續(xù)發(fā)展指明了方向，規(guī)劃了藍圖。
根據(jù)兩國元首達成的共識，雙方將在平等和尊重基礎(chǔ)上恢復(fù)兩軍高層溝通、中美國防部工作會晤、中美海上軍事安全磋商機制會議，開展中美兩軍戰(zhàn)區(qū)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)通話。兩國防務(wù)部門正就此保持著溝通協(xié)調(diào)，我們將適時發(fā)布相關(guān)消息。
中方重視中美兩軍關(guān)系，中國軍隊愿與美方一道，認真貫徹落實兩國元首共識，按照相互尊重、和平共處、合作共贏的原則開展交流合作，推動兩軍關(guān)系健康穩(wěn)定發(fā)展。
Wu Qian:President Xi Jinping had a successful meeting with US President Joe Biden recently. In the spirit of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, the two sides discussed dialogue and cooperation in various areas and reached more than 20 deliverables in such area as political affairs and foreign policy, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, global governance, and military and security. This meeting pointed the way and drew a blueprint for the sound, steady and sustained growth of China-US relations.
According to the consensus reached between the two heads of state, the two countries will resume, on the basis of equality and respect, high-level military-to-military communication, the China-US Defense Policy Coordination Talks, and the China-US Military Maritime Consultative Agreement meetings, and conduct telephone conversations between theatre commanders. The defense authorities of the two countries are in communication and coordination with each other in this regard. We will release relevant information in due course.
China values the mil-to-mil relationship with the US. The Chinese military stands ready to work with its US counterpart to implement the consensuses reached by the two heads of states, carry out exchanges and cooperation in accordance with the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation, and promote a sound and steady China-US mil-to-mil relationship.
